Privacy Collection Statement

eWorks - a brand of Bendigo Kangan Institute, ABN 74 802 942 886  (referred to as "eWorks", "us", "we") is collecting your personal information in order to provide self-guided carer coaching services and information via https://coaching.carergateway.gov.au).

The career coaching services (the Services) are provided for and on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DHDA).

We respect your right to privacy and are committed to ensuring the privacy of any personal information you provide to us. If at any time you supply us with personal information about another person, you should ensure that you are authorised to do so and you agree to inform that person of the content of this Privacy Collection Notice.

To access and receive the Services, you will be asked to register at https://coaching.carergateway.gov.au website and provide us with certain personal information. We collect a variety of personal information including your contact details (email, postcode, and State/Territory in which you reside), information about your identity (age, gender) and information about care recipients and other carer related information.

With your consent and where you elect to provide it to us, we may also collect sensitive information, such as information about your racial or ethnic origin and sexual identity.

If you do not provide any of the information we request, we may not be able to provide you with some or all of the Services.

The personal information we collect about you may be disclosed to DHDA. Details about DHDA's privacy practices in relation to the Carer Gateway Online Services and the information we provide to DHDA is available here: https://carergateway.gov.au/privacy

In order to provide the Services, we may disclose the personal information we collect about you to related companies and third parties who provide us with (or help us provide) the Services (such as third-party data hosting providers), regulatory bodies and other government agencies.

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties where you request us to, consent to us doing so, or if required or permitted by law. We do not generally disclose personal information outside Australia.
